Why we love this book:

Don't go into this expecting anything remotely similar to the Will Smith movie. What this book actually is, is an exploration of morality, consciousness, logic, and what makes us human. Those questions unfold within a collection of high-octane short stories starring a series of progressively more sophisticated robots. This book is from 1950. 1950! And it's more relevant and thoughtful about our impending robot-filled future than pretty much anything else I've read.
