Why should you read Virginia Woolf? - Iseult Gillespie

Why we love this book:

A Room of One's Own is the perfect place to start if you're new to reading Woolf. One, it's pretty short. Clocking in at just over 100 pages, the novel explores the intertwined relationship between women, art, literature, and financial independence. Two, it makes you excited about Woolf as a person and a writer — and leaves you wanting to delve further into her deep and lovely (and yes, troubled) mind. This book is so prescient and evergreen that it's hard to believe it was written almost 100 years ago.
