Cannibalism in the animal kingdom - Bill Schutt

Why we love this book:

I definitely got some looks while reading this book on the subway, and that was just based on the cover. The gawking reached a whole new level when I turned to the chapter "Eating People is Good." But in all seriousness, that kind of reaction is just what this book sets out to tackle. You'll come away with not only a ton of fascinating science and history about animal and human cannibalism, but also an extensive, thoughtful analysis of a pervasive cultural taboo.
