How to manage your time more effectively (according to machines) - Brian Christian

Why we love this book:

If you’re the type of person who likes the idea of alphabetizing your bookshelf as quickly as possible, finding the optimal parking spot, or just generally making the most of your limited time and resources, this is the book for you. It turns out that computer scientists have spent decades figuring out how to get computers to make the best decisions as efficiently as possible, and many of their approaches apply just as well to our own lives. This book doesn’t shy away from complexity; it’s a pretty deep dive into a lot of fascinating ideas. But it does so without requiring a technical background. As someone who couldn’t program his way out of a microwave oven, I appreciated this approach.
